According to Alabama State Trooper reports – one person was injured in a single-vehicle wreck Saturday morning in Etowah County.

That crash involved a 2017 Nissan that reportedly left the roadway – and then flipped over on I-59 at around 7:10am.  That driver – who was listed as a female from the Southside area – was transported, via ambulance, to UAB Medical Center for treatment.

The extent of the driver’s injuries remains unknown and the cause of the wreck remains under investigation by State Troopers.
