In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

EMRELL HUDSON, age 81 of Sylacauga – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with a Bond Revocation – and Failure to Appear on previous charges of Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree and with Harassing Communications;

ANGELA BICE, age 49 of Attalla arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Bench Warrant;

CHRISTINA MAYHEW, 28 of Collinsville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on a Bench Warrant;

BEVERLY MAXWELL, age 54 of Gadsden – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on a Probation Violation;

MICHAEL ZUBER, age 32 of Gaylesville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

And

WILLIAM BOYD, age 46 of Collinsville – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Failure to Appear – on the previous charges of Operating a Vehicle Without Insurance, Expired Tag and also Having a Mutilated/Altered Tag.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 97 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
