A frontal system will move through Alabama Monday night through Tuesday morning. As the system approaches, winds will increase across the area beginning late Monday afternoon, before thunderstorms are expected to begin. Gusts as high as 40 to 45 mph could be expected across much of Central Alabama. Moisture content is very high, with localized flooding possible in areas that receive heavy rainfall, and areas that receive a succession of several storms. The northeast Alabama area could see 2-3 inches of rainfall with this system.
