In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

JOSHUA MCDANIEL, age 43 of Leesburg – arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

LEWIS ADAMS, age 38 of Trion, Georgia arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and he was charged with Probation Revocation/Failure to Appear and Probation Revocation/the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance;

JEREMIAH DURRETT, 42 of Moody, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff‘s Office, and charged with Failure to Appear on charges of Driving while Revoked, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – and also Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 96 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
