In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

ANTHONY FUNK, age 37 of Catskaine, Oregon, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

ROBERT SMITH, age 22 of Sand Rock – was arrested by the Centre Police Department for Failure to Appear on the previous charge of the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

TINA WOLFE, age 43 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Failure to Appear – Probation Revocation;

KATIE CARVER, age 32 from Cedar Bluff, was Placed under Arrest by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with a Conditional Release Violation;

And

ALBERT CAGLE, 61 of Cedar Bluff – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Trafficking of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree – and with four counts of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 95 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
