A single-vehicle accident taking place early on Tuesday afternoon, sent a person for treatment to a nearby hospital, immediately afterwards.

According to the Alabama State Troopers Post at Jacksonville – in DeKalb County at 12:50pm, a single-vehicle wreck took place injuring the driver, listed as a male from Collinsville.  That crash was on County Road 51 and it involved a 2013 Chevy Camaro.  According to reports – that driver missed a curve, and went off the road – crashing into a tree.  The operator was taken to Marshall Medical Center for treatment.

The cause of that crash remains under investigation.
