In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

KASSEY DUMAS, age 31 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Revoked Bond, and Failure to Appear on the previous charges of Failure to Signal, Driving while Suspended – and also Improper Lights;

And                

MELINDA KEASLER, age 37 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of – Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 92 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
