Mrs. Evelyn Burley age 79 of Centre passed away Tuesday December 26th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday January 03, 2024 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Keith Lambert officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be family.
Survivors include son, Keith Burley; daughters, Barbara McElrath and Kenya Burley; brother, Thomas (Betty) Johnson; sisters, Sharon Fife and Naomi Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Burley; son-in-law, Harold McElrath; sisters, Deloris Johnson and Linda Johnson; grandchild, Tara Johnson.
Mrs. Burley was a native of Gadsden and the daughter of the late Willie and Lucille Johnson and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
