In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

ASHLEY BICE, 32 of Steele, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Failure to Appear on a Probation Revocation;

THOMAS WADSWORTH, 41 of Langston, was arrested by Leesburg Police and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and Possession with Intent to Distribute;

MICHAEL KING, age 41 of Collinsville, was arrested by Leesburg Police on charges of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance also with the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

BRYAN COOPER, age 50 of Jacksonville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a Conditional Release Violation and also three counts of Failure to Appear;

JESSEY WALTERS, age 64 of Cedar Bluff – was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department – charged with Public Intoxication;

HEATHER ROSSER, age 36 of Piedmont, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Conditional Release Violation;

JAMES RECTOR, age 52 of Moulton, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree/Assault

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 96 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
