PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Katelyn St.Clair scored 27 points, including five 3-pointers and an 8-for-8 performance from the free-throw line, but they weren’t enough to lead Sand Rock past Bath County (Ky.) in the Panama City Beach Marlin Christmas Classic on Friday. The Lady Wildcats lost by the final of 64-58.
St.Clair also collected five steals, four rebounds and three assists for the Lady Wildcats. Zoey Handy had 13 points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block. Chloe Stephens contributed six points, nine rebounds and an assist. Peyton Johnson finished with five points, seven rebounds, an assist and a block.
Sand Rock takes on Bartram County (Fla.) in the tournament on Saturday.
