Mohawk Blood Drives Net 117 Units of Blood Last Month

Last month, Mohawk Industries hosted blood drives at its manufacturing plants across the south – with the blood drives netting 177 units of blood that were distributed to various hospitals across the area.

To be eligible potential donors must be 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent), weigh 110 pounds or more, and also be in good health.  Donors should drink plenty of fluids, avoid caffeine – and, eat a meal rich in iron, prior to donating.
