The constant changing of gas prices in Alabama during the year didn’t affect Christmas Day prices too much this year compared to last.
AAA reported the 2023 Christmas Day average price statewide was $2.81.
That’s just 2 cents more than the price on Christmas Day in 2022, which was $2.79.
Prices for this holiday season did increase a bit, from $2.73 a week ago.
AAA shows the lowest average price in Cherokee County at $2.68 a gallon.
