Get Ready For a Wet Christmas But We Need It

The Christmas Day forecast for Alabama still looks like a wet one.

That’s according to the National Weather Service.

It’s not all bad news: The rain is still needed with the state in the midst of a drought. And NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center is still not expecting any severe weather on Monday.

All of Alabama could see some rain from Sunday into Monday, but southwest Alabama could get the most. The five-day precipitation outlook from NOAA’s Weather Prediction Center shows that region could see in excess of 2 inches:
