In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Past 24 Hours:

JAMES CRANE, 56 from Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department, charged with Failure to Appear (four counts);

LEIF HIGHT, age 48 from Piedmont was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with the Sexual Abuse of a Child under the Age of 12;

EMANUEL KISER, age 46 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Theft of Property 4th Degree.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
