In the Cherokee County Arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

LLOYD ETHERTON, age 63 of Piedmont, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree/Harassment

DANIEL LANEY, age 27 of Lyerly, Georgia was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department – charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

CHARLES WALKER – age 42 of Collinsville – arrested by the Centre Police Department and charged with – Failure to Appear/Theft of Property 4th Degree;

GEORGE MIDDLETON age 56 of Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with the Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and with Failure to Appear/Probation Revocation;

REBECCA NORWOOD, age 56 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with the Failure to Appear/Probation Revocation (x2)

DAKOTA WEBB, age 27 from Centre placed under arrest by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of a Conditional Release Violation;

PERO MARKIS, age 37 of Newark, DE – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, and charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute, the Promoting of Prison Contraband 2nd Degree, Dangerous Drugs/Drug Trafficking – and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and with the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (x3);

And

MICHAEL PRIEST, age 38 of Gaylesville, was arrested and No Charges are Listed.

All arrests are based on probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Currently, there are a total of 91 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
