You may want to add Forever stamps to your holiday shopping list.
The price of Forever stamps – that can be used in perpetuity – no matter FUTURE price changes – is set to go up on January 21st next year (2024); on that day, the prices will increase by 2 cents, from 66 cents to 68 cents each. Stamp prices last increased on July 9th this year, when prices rose from 63 to 66 cents.
“Inflationary pressure” was cited as the reason behind the price hike.
Other price changes include:
- Letters – metered 1 ounce – 63 cents to 64 cents
- Domestic postcards – 51 cents to 53 cents
- International postcards – $1.50 to $1.55
- International letter (1 ounce) – $1.50 to $1.55
