A body was found Thursday afternoon near Highway 77 in Rainbow City.
Chief Camp Yancey with the Rainbow City Police Department stated “foul play is not suspected at this time”. Officers were dispatched, after receiving a call of a body found in the 900 block of Highway 77. Police immediately responded and found the body.
The body has been identified – but that information is not being released pending notification of next of kin. The investigation is still on-going.
