The Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency – with numerous other first responder agencies, enjoyed taking part in “Community Helper Day” at Spring Garden School recently. That event was designed to allow students an opportunity to ask questions – and understand more – about what each community agency does in order to help not only in threats of severe weather but EVERYDAY as well.
It also helps be able to educate on the importance of preparedness.
