Firefighters of the Cedar Bluff, Centre, and Gaylesville Departments were all dispatched Wednesday morning, to a location on Highway 9 in Cedar Bluff. Early reports – at approximately 5:35am – indicated a building on fire at that location. Emergency personnel are saying it appears that anyone in the home did manage to safely exit the structure – and all of the power to the building has been shut off.
Firefighters did have a knockdown on that fire – which was concentrated in the roof – in just moments, and it was contained quickly. It’s still unclear just how the blaze began.
We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
