According to the Alabama State Troopers post at Jacksonville, a man was seen standing by the roadside – approximately halfway up the mountain, on Highway 35 – just prior to 7:00am Wednesday.
He told authorities that he’d lost control, and rolled his car – a 2017 Ford Fiesta, onto its side, and left the road, around 10:35 the previous night. Reportedly, he just decided to sleep in the car, until morning. The man was only shaken up in that mishap and no other vehicles were involved.
The case remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
