Trion Woman Charged With Burglary in Floyd County

A Chattooga County, Georgia woman was arrested in Floyd County over the weekend on burglary charges. 

According to arrest records at the Floyd County Jail – 39-year-old Joanna Marie Doan was arrested on Sunday after allegedly breaking into a home on Huffaker Road.   Police say that Doan entered the residence by breaking in a window to gain access to the house.  Once inside, police say the woman stole keys, a cell phone and a wallet with $325 in cash inside. 

Doan then allegedly threatened to kill the victim.  Doan was arrested and charged with 1st-Degree Burglary and also Terroristic Threats and Acts, and was booked into the Floyd County Jail.
