North Georgia Man Hurt in Cherokee County (Alabama) Wreck Saturday

A north Georgia resident was injured in a one-vehicle accident occurring here in Cherokee County (Alabama) early Saturday afternoon.

According to Alabama State Trooper reports the male driver from Menlo, was driving a 2000 Plymouth Voyager when he lost control – and he then crashed the vehicle into a ditch.  He was then taken by ambulance to Floyd Medical Center in Rome for the treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

That wreck, which took place on County Road 56 at 2:44pm, does remain under investigation by troopers.
