This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

Outlook through Tonight.

Thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight – generally near and south of the U.S. Highway 80 corridor will be capable of producing both isolated damaging wind gusts and the potential for a brief tornado.

Saturday through next Thursday.

Some thunderstorms Saturday generally near and south of the Interstate 85 corridor will be capable of producing isolated damaging wind gusts and the potential for a brief tornado.

SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed Friday afternoon though Saturday evening.
