Security lines at the airport can be long and very time consuming, especially around the holidays, and AAA Alabama is helping you be able to get around and through those lines faster with TSA Pre-Check.

“This is a great opportunity to significantly reduce your wait times at many airports around the country. The security screening process becomes so much easier,” said AAA Alabama spokesperson Clay Ingram.

Officials say that TSA Pre-Check screening processes are typically less than a 10 minute wait, and there is no requirement to remove shoes, belts, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, or light jackets. In order to help you get TSA Pre-Check approved, AAA Alabama is hosting a TSA Pre-Check application event Dec. 4-8 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Birmingham AAA office.
