Recently (On Friday November 17th) – the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit was pleased to be able to provide a demonstration of the Aviation Unit’s Helicopter to all members of the kindergarten class at Geraldine Elementary School and the Geraldine High School Varsity Football Team.
Investigators explained exactly how the chopper works and the ways the Sheriff’s Office utilizes the Aviation Unit, including searching for missing persons and helping locate suspects.
