A two-vehicle crash in Cherokee County, sent two individuals to the hospital late Friday afternoon.
According to Alabama State Trooper reports, that accident took place on the causeway between Centre and Cedar Bluff, and one of the vehicles involved was reportedly pulling a boat, when the collision occurred. The driver of a 2011 Dodge Caravan – a male from Cedar Bluff – was taken to a Rome-area hospital for treatment afterward, and the driver of a 2006 Toyota Tundra – a male from New Market – wasn’t hurt, but the passenger – a female from Cedar Bluff – was transported to Rome for treatment as well.
That wreck took place at around 5:45pm.
Responders included Alabama State Troopers, Atrium EMS, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad and units from both Cedar Bluff and Centre Fire Departments.
