Man Accused of Shoplifting at Wal-Mart

A 66-year-old man is accused of trying to shoplift $800 worth of items from Wal-Mart in Trion, Georgia.   According to the arrest records David Lee Williams was booked into the Chattooga County Jail, over the past weekend after he’d loaded a shopping buggy full of items and attempted to pass all points of sale and leave the store.   Williams then allegedly loaded the stolen items in his vehicle as he was being approached by deputies. 

Williams refused to obey lawful orders and resisted arrest – but he was eventually booked into Jail on shoplifting charges.
