One person was injured in a single-vehicle accident, which took place Friday morning in Etowah County.
According to the Alabama State Troopers Post – the mishap was on Vaughn Road at around 9:15 that morning – and it involved a 2004 Lexus being driven by an Altoona man. Reportedly, he lost control due to the wet conditions – and then he went into a ditch, with the vehicle overturning. Afterwards, he was rushed by ambulance to Riverview Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation.
