Cherokee County Firefighters spent time battling a blaze on County Road 113 in Cherokee County early Thursday morning.
An emergency call went out at approximately 4:50am regarding a large woods fire, and also a residential structure was reportedly close enough to be possibly considered in danger as well.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and were able to contain the fire by around 7:00am – we’ll have more information as it becomes available.
