Mr. Charles Wade Moore, 55 of Centre, passed away Saturday, November 04, 2023.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 08, 2023 graveside at Weiss Lake Memorial Garden with Rev. Mark Cosby officiating.

He  is survived by his son, Connar Paul Moore; daughters, Ashley (Aaron) Butts, Madeline  Moore (Braden) Curry, brother, Philip (Melinda) Moore Lexington; sister, Kym (Jimmy) Black, grandchildren, Odis Jackson Butts, Nova Faith, niece & nephew Jack Moore & Rachael (Jacob) Mills, his two fur babies coco & sophia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leann Goodwin Moore, and parents Jack & Connie Moore

Mr. Moore was a native of Birmingham, but has called Cherokee County home since 1990, He worked at the Auto Super Center with his sister & brother-in-law to supplement his income and because he loved talking to people and people loved him. Charlie was a member of Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church, and was very handy and could fix or do just about anything with super glue and duct tape. He loved fiercely; he loved to give hugs and always said he loved you.

He died at his sister & brother-in-law’s house under hospice care after a long battle with colon cancer. He went to sleep with no pain or struggles and awoke with his savior Jesus Christ. His proudest accomplishments were his three children and two grandchildren.
