CEDAR BLUFF – The Cedar Bluff Tigers closed out their 2023 regular football season with a 45-6 thumping of Donoho on Friday.
Hunter Jenkins ran for 150 yards on 20 carries with a touchdown and also recovered a fumble on defense. Alex Baty added 107 yards and two scores on just five carries. Kaden Pack was 4-of-6 passing for 78 yards and a touchdown to Eli McFry.
Defensively, the Tigers were led by Carson Webb’s 13 tackles, including five for lost yardage, with a fumble recovery. He also ran for 38 yards on four carries and scored a touchdown.
Samson Mallett posted eight tackles, including three for loss, and a pass breakup. Kadin Fife had four tackles, including three for loss, with a forced fumble. Kadien Tracy made four stops and a had pair of pass breakups. Caleb Edmondson finished with three tackles and three pass breakups.
Cedar Bluff travels to Wadley on Thursday for the first round of the Class 1A state playoffs. Donoho’s season ends at 0-9.
