State Troopers Work Two Accidents with Injuries Tuesday in Etowah County

According to the Alabama State Troopers Post at Jacksonville, a pair of accidents with injuries took place Tuesday (Halloween) in Etowah County.

The first was at 9:52am on U.S. Highway 411, involving a tractor trailer (a Kenworth), which was being driven by a male resident of Jacksonville, Alabama; and a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was being driven by a male resident of Gadsden.

The driver of the Jeep was hurt in that accident and transported for treatment afterwards.

At 3:02pm, a single-vehicle accident took place on U.S. 431 when the driver of a 2018 Hyundai Accent (a female that was listed as a resident of Walnut Grove) reportedly lost control and crashed injuring not only herself, but two males (both from Boaz) along with her.

All three were transported to Gadsden Regional Medical Center by ground units.

Both wrecks currently remain under investigation of Alabama State Troopers.
