In the early hours of October 24th (of 2023) – law enforcement officers from the Rainbow City Police Department, were alerted to a series of gunshots being fired in the vicinity of Ann Street and Cove Creek Lane. The incident took place at approximately 12:29am and a number of officers promptly responded in order to investigate the matter. According to the Department, upon arrival – officers discovered multiple shell casings scattered around the area. The discovery initiated an immediate investigation by the Rainbow City Police to determine the circumstances surrounding the shots fired.
At this time, there have been no reported injuries related to the incident. It is important to note that, according to authorities, there is no active threat to the safety and security of the community.
The Rainbow City Police Department is working diligently to ascertain the full details of the situation – and actively pursuing leads and evidence.
