Wild Land Fires

Leesburg, Sand Rock and Tuckers Chapel were out on a Wildland Fire Sunday afternoon.

Spring Garden was dispatched to a Possible Wild Land fire about 4:40 Sunday afternoon on County Road 126 and US Highway 278. When they arrived on the scene, the property owner said he was burning some stuff on his property. The fire department extinguished the fire.

Please don’t do any outdoor burning. It is extremely dry and fires are hard to contain in this environment.
