Gadsden’s Tucker, Green top fishing field in Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series Championship on Weiss Lake

LEESBURG – The Gadsden fishing duo of Terry Tucker and Jeremy Green topped the field in the Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series Championship over the weekend on Weiss Lake. They won $50,000 after hauling in a two-day catch total weight of 31.74 lbs.

Sylacauga’s CJ Knight and Chelsea’s Anthony Goggins finished runners-up with a two-day catch total of 28.5 lbs. Their cash prize was $10,000.

Third place went to Booneville, Miss., native Michael Wooley and Counce, Tenn., native Joe Wooley (28.03 lbs.; $5,000). Pelham’s Justin Mott and Plantersville’s Randal Hamilton took fourth with a catch weight of 27.48 lbs. ($4,000).

Centre natives Bret Harrell and Tyler Smart earned fifth place with a catch weight of 27.21 lbs. for a $3,000 prize.
