An empty log truck was involved in a single-vehicle accident, on Monday, at 6:55am in Cherokee County.

That was at Highway 411 North and County Road 45, just East of Centre.  The driver reportedly received only minor injuries and was just shaken up in the incident. 

According to reports, the big rig had both fuel tanks damaged – and there a spill of some 200 Gallons that was leaking after that accident – various procedures were immediately put into place, in order to deal with the situation.

The wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
