Armuchee, Georgia Woman Charged With Hit and Run – as Well as Money Fraud

A 43-year-old Armuchee, Georgia woman was arrested recently – after reports that she committed hit-and-run after committing money fraud.  Police say that Dawn Tamela Brown – had left the scene of a car accident on Martha Berry Highway, without providing personal information to the victim.  Authorities add that Brown was wanted for Identity Fraud after she used the banking account information of another person to gain access to his money. 

Police say that Brown, without approval of the victim, withdrew $600 from the victim’s bank account in early August of this year

Brown is charged with Identity Fraud and Hit-and-Run.
