The driver of a 2003 Ford Explorer, listed as a male from Boaz – was transported Saturday morning via helicopter to UAB – after a single vehicle crash on U.S. 431 in neighboring Etowah County
According to the Alabama State Trooper Post at Jacksonville the driver of the vehicle left the roadway crossed a ditch – and then crashed into a tree.
The cause of the wreck remains under the investigation of State Troopers.
