TRINITY – Class 1A, No. 10 Decatur Heritage scored 34 unanswered points in the first half to take a 34-0 Region 7 football win over Gaylesville on Friday night.
Kyler Bradley forced a fumble and Parker Fletcher recovered it for the Trojans (1-7, 1-4). Savarius Evans led Decatur Heritage (8-1, 6-0) with 266 yards rushing with three touchdowns.
Gaylesville is at Valley Head next Friday. Decatur Heritage is open next Friday.
