Cherokee County “Most Wanted” Arrest Made

Pursuit in Broomtown Area Leads to Most Wanted Arrest

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver – Deputy Tray McMeekin was patrolling the area at Watson’s Crossroads when he observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.   He immediately initiated a pursuit – that continued through the Broomtown area and later came to an end when the driver ran out of gas.

The man was identified as Jammy Trent White, 41 of Gaylesville – who was placed under arrest, and was then transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges of: Attempting to Elude (Felony) – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and several felony warrants, including trafficking meth.
