Thursday Evening Accident in Gore, Georgia

An accident on Highway 27, at the intersection of Gore-Subligna Road, snarled traffic on Thursday evening. 

The Georgia State Patrol stated that a Mercedes-Benz passenger van with 9 occupants, was traveling north on Highway 27, when a Cadillac SUV pulled out from the Gore-Subligna Road, and into the path of the van.  Both the driver of the van and the driver of the SUV along with a  passenger in the van were transported to a Rome hospital with non-life threatening minor injuries.  That accident report is not complete and will be released later by the Georgia State Patrol.
