2023 Halloween/Fall Event Calendar

Saturday, October 21st

🎃The City of Attalla’s Heritage Day Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 21st, from 9am to 5pm with free admission. There will be something for everyone to enjoy in Historic Downtown Attalla. There will be a kid zone for all ages, food and craft vendors, and an open car show. Two stages of live music will feature performances by the Etowah High School Band, Kings of Swing, II Da Maxx Band, Jeremy Noble, Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble, Ronny Jones, Vintage Grey, Finley River Boys, Southland Soul, and Still Broke Band. 🎃Reverence Baptist Church presents a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 21st, from 12pm to 3pm at 115 Princeton Avenue in Gadsden. There will be music, food, drinks, games, and more! Pastor Allen Ragan invites everyone to come see what Reverence Baptist Church is doing!

🎃A Fall Festival with fun for all ages will be held Saturday, October 21st, beginning at 2pm at East Centre Baptist Church, 1220 East Main Street in Centre. 🎃Barrett’s Chapel, located at 440 County Road 77 in Gaylesville, will host their annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 21st, from 6pm to 8pm. Everyone is invited to enjoy free food, hayrides, games, and more!

Sunday, October 22nd

Friday, October 27th

🎃Gadsden State Cherokee and Cherokee County Department of Human Resources will co-host Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 27th, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. This will be a fun event for families that offers the opportunity for the community to come to the campus to have a great time in a safe environment. The campus is located at 801 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre. The free public event is for students, community members, faculty and staff. It will feature candy, games, activities and a photo opportunity with Swoop, the Cardinal mascot. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes.

Saturday, October 28th

🎃Summerville Main Street and Summerville Trion Optimist Club will host the annual Pumpkin Palooza with Pumpkin Derby and Halloween Candy Walk on Saturday, October 28th on the East Washington Streetscape area. Events will include the Pumpkin Palooza from 10am to 2pm ET, a youth Halloween costume contest at 10:15am ET, the Pumpkin Derby at 1:30pm ET and the Halloween Candy walk from 11am to 1pm ET.

🎃Chesterfield Baptist Church’s Fall Celebration Weekend begins with a Fall Fest on Saturday, October 28th, starting at 12pm with youth Wiffle ball with Clay Joseph, games and activities for the kids, food, fun, fellowship, a Trunk-or-Treat at around 2pm, and a wild game supper at 6pm. Then, on Sunday, October 29th, there will be a youth service with Justin Jacobs at 10am at 7925 County Road 15 in Gaylesville.

🎃The Spring Garden and Rock Run Trunk or Treat is set for Saturday, October 28th, from 3pm to 5pm at Spring Garden School’s football field parking lot.

🎃The Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Fall Festival is set for Saturday, October 28th, from 3pm until 6pm. There will be live music, festive food, face painting, crafts, a cake walk, games, and more. For more info call 256-996-4504.

🎃Everyone’s invited to the 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat at Pine View Crossing Apartments on Saturday, October 28th, beginning at 4pm at 1052 Bay Spring Road in Centre (across the Bypass from Jack’s Restaurant). There will be free family fun, including lots of candy, games, and face painting.

🎃Everyone’s invited to a Trunk-or-Treat at Faith Baptist Church, located at 7175 AL Highway 35 in Gaylesville (Watson’s Crossroads) on Saturday, October 28th, from 4pm to 6pm.

🎃Slackland Baptist Church, located at 75 County Road 20 in Leesburg, invites everyone to join them for their Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 28th, from 4 to 6pm. They will have games, door prizes, and trunks of treats.

🎃The kids will have a spooktacular time at the Trunk or Treat, sponsored by the Town of Leesburg, on Saturday, October 28th, from 5pm to 7pm at Leesburg Landing on Riverside Street in Leesburg. 🎃Crossplains Church will host Fall Fest 2023 on Sunday, October 29th, from 5pm to 7pm at 6142 Old Piedmont Gadsden Highway. There will be a trunk or treat, food trucks, inflatables, a hayride, and more! Everything is free (excluding food trucks).

🎃Pine Grove Baptist Church will be holding a Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 29th from 5pm to 7pm at 2765 County Road 22 in Centre. There will be inflatables, food, candy, and coffee. Please preregister at pinegroveonline.com.

🎃Friendship Baptist Church will host a Fall Fest on Sunday, October 29th, beginning at 6pm at 150 County Road 93 in Centre. There will be a trunk or treat, games, free food, activities, and free family fun.

Tuesday, October 31st

🎃Cherokee County Health & Rehabilitation Center will hold their annual Trick-or-Treat on Tuesday, is October 31, from 4pm to 5pm.

🎃Cherokee Manor Apartments, located on Northwood Drive in Centre (across from the urgent care), invites everyone to their Trick or Treat event in the Community Building on Tuesday, October 31st, from 4:30pm until all of the candy is gone.

🎃Broomtown/Rinehart Volunteer Fire Department invites everyone to to enjoy free candy and a haunted trail, on Tuesday, October 31st, beginning at 5pm.

🎃Gaylesville Volunteer Fire Department will be giving out Trick-or-Treat candy from 5pm until they run out on Tuesday, October 31st.

🎃The City of Menlo presents a Halloween Candy Walk & Costume Contest at the Menlo City Park on Tuesday, October 31st, from 5pm to 7pm ET. Overall best, scariest, cutest, and most unique Halloween costumes win a prize!

🎃The 18th Annual Trunk-or-Treat in the Park hosted by the Town of Cedar Bluff will be held Tuesday, October 31st from 5pm to 8pm in the Cedar Bluff Town Park. Enjoy a night of frightful fun and fabulous costumes. There will be inflatables, haunted hayrides, and a photo booth.

🎃There will be a Trunk of Treat hosted by Tony’s Pizza & Subs and The Coffee Man on Tuesday, October 31st, from 5:30pm to 8pm at the Tony’s Pizza & Subs Centre location, 1820 East Bypass in Centre. There will be candy, games, pizza, and coffee. Participate in the pizza walk for a chance to win free pizza!

🎃The City of Piedmont will host its Annual Downtown Trick or Treat Tuesday October 31st from 4pm-6pm. The 4 blocks of downtown will be blocked at 3pm for businesses to set up for all the Trick or Treater’s. Please come out and enjoy the fun!

Saturday, November 4th

🎃There will be a Fall Festival held on Saturday, November 4th, from 9am to 3pm ET in historic downtown Cedartown, Georgia. Free admission, art, craft, and food vendors. The event is sponsored and hosted by the Downtown Cedartown Association.
