FYFFE – Logan Anderson and Hunter Lathum scored a pair of touchdowns on two carries apiece in leading the fourth-ranked Fyffe Red Devils to a 47-0 victory over Sand Rock in Class 2A, Region 7 football action on Friday night.

Anderson accumulated 90 yards and Lathum added 67 for the Red Devils (6-1, 5-0). Anderson scored both of his touchdowns in the first quarter. One of Lathum’s came in the first and the other in the second. Fyffe led at halftime 40-0.

Ryder Gipson gained 55 yards and scored a touchdown on four carries. Maddox Doss and Simon Hicks accounted for the other two Fyffe touchdowns.

Alec Ashley led the Wildcats (1-7, 1-4) by completing 7-of-18 pass attempts for 83 yards. Kane Robison topped the Wildcat rushers with 30 yards on 12 carries.

Sand Rock returns home for the first time in a month to host Ider on Friday. Fyffe hosts undefeated Pisgah in a battle of top-five teams.
