Chattooga County Deputy Wakes Up Man and Arrests Him
A 59-year-old man was found lying in the parking lot at United Community Bank in Summerville, Georgia – just after midnight last Thursday.
A passing deputy pulled into the parking lot of the bank, seeing that Chester Robin Blackmon was asleep on the parking lot. The officer woke Blackmon – and could smell the odor of alcohol on his person.
The deputy asked Blackmon just how much he had to drink, to which Blackmon replied “two beers”. Following a Field-Alcohol test Blackmon was charged with public intoxication, and he was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
