On Tuesday Alabama State Troopers responded to two separate auto accidents with injuries, one in Etowah County and another in DeKalb County.
According to those reports, in Etowah County there was a single vehicle crash involving a 1999 Toyota on Alabama Highway 179 at around 9:30pm. According to reports the driver listed on the paperwork as a male of an Albertville address, was transported for treatment following the wreck.
In neighboring DeKalb County two individuals were involved in a single-vehicle accident resulting in one injury. According to State Troopers, the wreck – occurring at 10:57am – involved a 2004 GMC, driven by a male resident from Gadsden who was not injured – and a female passenger that was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information regarding either injured party, is – at this time – being released.
Both wrecks remain under investigation.
