That letter may be IN the mail – but DON’T expect to receive it today (Monday, October 9th).
U.S. Postal Service facilities are closed TODAY (on Monday) for Columbus Day. The holiday means there will be no residential or business mail service today. Now Priority Mail Express WILL be available, and you can use www.usps.com to look up any ZIP codes, track packages, buy stamps, hold mail, submit change of address, schedule a package pickup OR find locations that offer self-service kiosks.
Normal delivery and collection scheduled will resume Tuesday, October 10th.
Columbus Day is the eighth postal holiday of the year. It will be followed by Veterans Day on November 11th, Thanksgiving Day on November 23rd and Christmas Day on December 25th.
