Man Charged in Fatal Motorcycle Crash
Charges have been filed in connection with a motorcycle crash that occurred in the Shannon area back on September 14th.
According to arrest warrants – Benjamin John Godfrey of Rome, age 37 was driving a Chevy Colorado on Shannon Road when he failed to yield to a motorcycle traveling on Highway 53; the bike hit the pickup truck, claiming the life of Bradley Marc Sharpe of Cave Spring.
Godfrey was charged with misdemeanor counts of – 2nd-Degree Homicide by Vehicle and a Stop Sign Violation.
