Around 4:00 Thursday afternoon, firefighters with the Tucker’s Chapel Department, as well as members of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – responded to a fire call near the intersection of County Roads 53 and 361.

Witnesses said that both a truck, and a tractor, were engulfed in flames – but fortunately the residence was not damaged.

That blaze remains under investigation but early reports do not indicate any foul play.
