Man Arrested After Using Another Person’s ID at Bank

Forty-five year old Ashford Lamont Price of Summerville – was arrested this week after reports state he used another person’s identity to obtain money from United Community Bank, Martha Berry Highway branch.

Reports stated Price obtained a bank slip order from inside and then exited into a car.   He, along with others, then went into the drive-thru, and obtained $600 from another person’s account – without their permission.  Price allegedly used the victim’s personal information to fill out the slip and illegally obtain the money.

The incident occurred on August 3rd of this year (2023). 

Price stands charged with – Identity Fraud, 2nd-Degree Forgery and Executing Checks Knowing that the Information is in Error, Giving False Information to Police, Obstruction and also Failure to Appear.
