HUGE Cleanup Operation Continues in North Georgia

Chattooga County, Georgia Sheriff Mark Schrader, states County inmates have picked up over eight tons of garbage and litter off the county’s roadways so far this year.   The inmate work details picked up 1,480 pounds of garbage, in the month of September – bringing the year’s total up to 16,870 pounds. 

Sheriff Schrader recently shared a post on social media – saying “Please stop littering!!!” 

The sheriff says that it’s a real shame for THAT much litter to be on the roadways of our beautiful county.
